The Centre for Shared Spectrum Innovation (CSSI) is hosted and managed by the University of Strathclyde. Its roots go back to 2011, when the University set up the Centre for White Space Communications (CWSC) to support and promote the shared use of TV White Space spectrum. CSSI is a natural evolution and re-branding of CWSC, as the scope and use of spectrum sharing has extended beyond TV white space spectrum and is now being applied to several other spectrum bands.

We work closely with the University's Software Defined Radio Lab, StrathSDR, and its spin-out company, Neutral Wireless Ltd.
